Hôtel Lambert - Paris

The Hôtel Lambert is a prestigious private mansion located on the Île Saint-Louis in Paris. It was built in the 17th century, between 1640 and 1644, on behalf of the architect Louis Le Vau. It is one of the major works of the Grand Siècle, in the French classical style. The hotel was designed for the financier and aristocrat Jean-Baptiste Lambert, who was its first owner.
